Former chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Shia Waqf Board, Wasim Rizvi on Monday converted to Hinduism, leaving Islam. Mahant of Dasna Devi Temple and Mahamandaleshwar Narasimhanand Giri Maharaj of Juna Akhara got him accepted Sanatan Dharma and completed the necessary formalities related to it.

Wasim Rizvi has now changed his name to Harbir Narayan Singh Tyagi. After completing all the formalities of conversion, Waseem said that from today he will work only for Hindutva.



On becoming Harbir Narayan from Wasim Rizvi, he said, 'Religion is not a matter of change. When I was expelled from Islam, it is my choice which religion I accept. Sanatan Dharma is the first religion in the world and goodness is found in it. Humanity is found in this religion.

He said that after reading so much about Islam, we understand that Islam is not a religion. When we were thrown out, after every Friday we are asked to behead our heads, so we are leaving this religion and accepting Sanatan Dharma.

On this occasion, Yeti Narasimhanand said that Wasim is a humanist and a courageous person. He said that Hindus should support Wasim Rizvi with body, mind and money. He said that people who follow Sanatan Dharma will welcome Waseem Rizvi.
