Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the unfortunate incident in Kishtwar.
The Lt Governor said that I am deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the tragic incident in Kishtwar. I express my deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. The Lieutenant Governor has directed the Deputy Commissioner to provide all assistance to the next of kin of the deceased.
It is noteworthy that four people were killed when a tree fell on a family of Bakarwal community living in a tent in Keshwan area of Kishtwar district due to rain. Three women are among the dead.
