After the pre-monsoon rains in Jammu and Kashmir, now the humid summer has started. Due to increase in humidity in Jammu division, people are losing their sweat. Day and night also due to undeclared power cuts, people have got sleepless nights. Fans and coolers have also failed to provide relief at this time. The Meteorological Department has predicted mainly hot and dry weather during the next 24 hours.



There has been strong sunshine in Jammu city since Tuesday morning. Although the temperature is below 40 degrees, but due to the humidity, it seems as if the temperature has gone beyond 45. Due to the sultry sweating heat, people are preferring to stay in their homes under coolers and ACs or go to a cooler place.



Meanwhile, Jammu recorded a minimum temperature of 29.9 degrees Celsius, Katra 27, Batote 20.9, Banihal 20 and Bhaderwah 19.2 degrees Celsius.



Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 19 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 13.2 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 12 degrees Celsius.



Apart from this, the minimum temperature in Drass city of Ladakh was recorded at 8.4 degrees, Leh 12.3 and Kargil 16.2 degrees.
