'Clouds are prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir, possibility of light rain'

The Meteorological Department on Tuesday predicted generally cloudy sky and light rain in Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.



An official of the Meteorological Department said that during the next 24 hours, Jammu and Kashmir will be generally cloudy and there is a possibility of light rain. Meanwhile, Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 5.6 degrees Celsius this morning, minus 0.6 degrees in Pahalgam and minus one degree in Gulmarg. In the Ladakh region, it was minus 6 degrees in Drass, 2.4 degrees in Kargil while it was minus 3 degrees in Leh.



Jammu recorded 13.1 degrees Celsius, Katra 11.6 degrees Celsius, Batote 6.5 degrees Celsius, Banihal 4.8 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 7 degrees Celsius.
