'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp held in Karsha Block '

Viksit Bharat Yatra camp was today held in Karsha Panchayat of Karsha Block, Zanskar to ensure saturation of Government flagship schemes. 

During the event, Block level officers of RD&PRD, Agriculture, Health, PHE, Handloom, FCS&CA, besides other line department were present. 

Day Nodel officer Tsewang Younten briefed the participants on various beneficiary oriented schemes and  highlighted the participant about the ideas behind VBSY.

During the event Tsering Norboo SDAO Zanskar spoke at length about various schemes being implemented through the Agriculture Department.

Comprehensive health screening was conducted, including online registration of eligible beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat. Golden cards were distributed and 15 beneficiaries were registered as of now. 

Thirteen persons were screened for TB and samples were collected. During the programme the Agriculture Department has saturated e kyc of Beneficiary  under PM-KISAN and did Aadhar seeding  of 30 beneficiaries.

The camp also focused to mitigate all the issues related to EKYC to avail the financial incentive of all the on going schemes of various department.  Besides that Muneer Rasul Wani (DPM) LRLM District Kargil along with the Sarpanch distributed the bank passbooks to already formed 22 SHGs in Karsha panchayat.

Chairman BDC Karsha Block Lobzang Namgyal along with all the officers and officials of line department including Panchayat members as well as member of SHGs in traditional dresses enthusiastically greeted the IEC van by offering Khataks. 

In addition to that a skit on Dharti kahe Pukar Ke was presented by the senior students of Govt. High School Karsha.

Besides that meritorious students both in academic and sports were felicitated. Full banking services by J&K bank was provided to mitigate all the issues related to bank and services like aadhar and mobile nos seeding with banks account were carried out successfully.

The Day Nodal Officer expressed gratitude to the participants for their enthusiastic participation and cooperation to realised the envisaged dream of Central Government.
