The tremors were felt in the Union Territory of Ladakh on Tuesday morning. A mild earthquake of magnitude 3.0 on the Richter scale occurred at 11:27 am on Tuesday morning.
The main epicenter of the earthquake was latitude 33.64 and longitude 76.28 as 10 km deep in the Ladakh region. Due to the low intensity of the earthquake, most people did not know it and those who felt the tremors of the earthquake left their homes and went out into the open. There is no notice of any loss in this earthquake.
