Noted singer and composer Bappi Lahiri (69) passed away. Bappi Lahiri, who made people crazy for disco music, breathed his last on Tuesday night at 11 pm at Criti Care Hospital in Juhu. Apart from his voice, he was distinguished by wearing heavy gold ornaments. There is a wave of mourning in the film world due to the death of Bappi Da. He got corona infected last year. He was then admitted to Breach Candy Hospital. He returned home after beating Corona. But a few days ago, Corona again caught him. He was being treated at Criti Care Hospital. Bappi Da enthralled people with his music from 1980 to 2000. He worked with singers and musicians like Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Usha Uthup, Suresh Wadkar, Sudesh Bhosle etc.

Bappi Da, who made the youth crazy with disco music in the country, used to wear gold rings and bracelets in his hands and fingers too. Bappi Lahiri was a big fan of American rock star Elvis Presley. Elvis always wore a gold chain during his performances. Seeing Elvis, Bappi Da also thought that when he is successful, he will make his own identity. And being successful, Bappi da wore gold.
