J&K is resonating with national slogans with the PM's "Har Ghar Tiranga" Campaign, said MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, while flagging off a Tiranga rally organized by BJP senior leader & Councillor Ward 41 Sanjay Baru at Talab Tillo.
J&K BJP Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, Councillor Ward 40 Neelam Nargotra, Convenor Health & Medical Cell Puneet Mahajan, BJP activists, prominent locals participated in the massive Tiranga Rally, which started from Poonch house Ground, proceeded towards Talab Tillo Main Chowk and again culminated in the Poonch House Ground passing through the main Talab Tillo Road.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing the rally, said that ahead of this Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign last month. It aims at evoking a feeling of patriotism by exhorting people across the country to hoist the national flag between August 13 and 15, when the country completes 75 years of its independence, he said.
Sanjay Baru, on the occasion said that the enthusiastic people from all walks of life have participated massively in this Tiranga Rally. He said that they have also distributed the Tiranga to the locals so that they can hoist the national flag on their houses and business establishments and stated that this Independence Day is sure to create a history.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that the Tiranga resides in our hearts and our emotions filled with its colours and that no other flag except the Tricolour will be hoisted on the land of Jammu and Kashmir. He thanked PM Modi for launching the "Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan" which has now turned out as a mass movement.
Keshav Chopra appealed the common masses to further this movement by hoisting the National Flag at our homes.
