Today Govt. Degree College Budhal Celebrated 75th Independence Day with great pride and enthusiasm. Prof (Dr.) Mohd Mazammal Hussain, Principal of the College hoisted the National Flag which was followed by the National Anthem by NSS Volunteers. A systematic March Pass was done by NCC Cadets which signified methodology and Perseverance of our culture.
The cultural programme was started with the traditional way of lamp lightning followed by an Inspiring presentation on Freedom of India by Dr. Syed Mohd Javad. Mohd Asman (Sr. Under Officer NCC) and Samiksha Sharma (NSS Volunteer) sung patriotic songs. NCC cadets presented Skit on sacrifices of soldiers. On Rangila Song beautiful dance was presented by Wajahat Jabeen and her team.
The Proceedings of cultural programme were performed by Prof. Ajaz Hussain Shah (NSS Programme Officer).
Dr. Gowhar Ahmad Shapoo (Organising Secretary) appreciated the efforts of the students participated in Flag hoisting and in Cultural Programme.
Faculty members, Dr. Mohd Farooq, Dr. Syed Mohmad Javad, Dr. Amarjeet Singh, Dr. Ishfaq Ahmad, Mr. Adnan Ali Shah, Dr. Muzafer Ahmed, Dr. Mohd Adriss Anjum, Mr. Abid Hussain, Mr. Zahid Mir, Mr. Talit Sarwer, Mr. Iftar Ahmed, Mrs. Saima Shabnum also encouraged the participant students.
Prof. Mohd Farooq (HoD Arabic) thanked all the faculty members, non-teaching staff and students for making the events successful.
