Two strong tremors of earthquake were felt in the whole of North India including Delhi-NCR on Tuesday night. After the tremors at 1.58 pm, the sleeping people came out of the houses.
According to the National Center for Seismology, apart from Delhi-NCR, people felt the tremors of the earthquake in adjoining districts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The magnitude of the earthquake was greater than 6.3 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter was 10 km below the ground in Manipur, Nepal.
Earthquake tremors have been felt for the second time in just five hours in North India. Earlier on Tuesday night at 8.52 pm, earthquake tremors were felt in many parts of UP including Lucknow. Its intensity was measured at 4.9 on the Richter scale.
