On the death anniversary of the founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, he was honored across the district. Celebrations were organized at various places and tributes were paid to Mukherjee. Due to this, a program was organized in Chak Manga village under the leadership of BJP leader Kashmira Singh. In which Councilor Tarachand, District Secretary Parveen Lata, BJP leader Mastram and others, while paying tribute to him, took a vow to follow the path shown by him.
Similarly, while paying homage in village Guda Salathia, senior BJP leader Sanjeev Sharma, Sudarshan Singh Salathia of Zila Vikas Parishad and others paid tribute. The speakers said that Dr. Mukherjee has abolished the permit system to enter Jammu and Kashmir. Their sacrifices are paramount which cannot be forgotten. He called upon the workers to follow the path shown by him and help the society in taking the country towards a better direction.
