'Crescent Public School celebrates 19th Annual Day with Grandeur'

Crescent PublicSchool today marked another successful year with its Annual Day celebration atGeneral Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, showcasing theincredible talents and achievements of the students, faculty, and staff of bothits branches; Janipur and ChakBhalwal.The celebration was divided into twoparts.

The first partpresented by students of classes 2 to 10 was based on the theme "AisaDesh HaiMera".The celebration reflected the school's commitment to impartingvalue-based education to its students. The evening was lined with a vibrantcultural program featuring dance, music, and drama performances that captivatedthe audience.

J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina graced the occasion aschief guest while Advocate Monika Kohli, Senior Additional Advocate General,J&K and Ladakh High Court, Jammu was the guest of honour. Inaugurating thefunction by lighting a ceremonial lamp, Raina was all praise for the hardworkand sincere efforts put in by students to present a gala cultural event.

Parents,teachers, and students alike revelled in the festive atmosphere, fostering asense of community and pride. The Annual Day celebration provided a platformfor students to showcase their diverse talents and skills, reinforcing the School’sethos of fostering well-rounded individuals. The cultural presentationcomprised various dance forms from almost all the states of India.

Among the majorhighlights of the event was the recognition of outstanding teachers who haveserved for more than ten years in Crescent Public School.

Dr. BhavnaKaushal, the principal of the School, expressed gratitude towards the entireschool community for their unwavering support and commitment. “This Annual Daycelebration signifies the culmination of a couple of successful academic years thatwere a testament to the collaborative spirit which motivated us to keepimparting quality education even through the Corona pandemic," said Dr.Kaushal.

The eventconcluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Director (Academics) Mrs. MobeenSyed, followed by a song by the teaching staff and the national anthem.

The second part presentedby students of classes Nursery to Grade 1 and based on the theme “InternationalDance” brought to fore the incredible hidden talents ofthe toddlers. While thefunction was graced by Bharat Bushan Bodhi, Chairman DDC Jammu and former MLAfrom Raipur, Domana as chief guest, the special guests blessing the littleangles were Naseeb Singh Langeh, Sarpanch, Seri and Rajdev Singh, Sarpanch,Bhalwal.

All thedignitaries praised the great enthusiastic effort put in by the young Crescentians.Director (Academics) Mrs. Mubeen Syed formally welcomed the chief guest and thespecial guests.

The mainhighlights of the ceremony were the international dance forms from across theglobe.

The vote ofthanks was proposed by Administrative Coordinator Mrs. Alpana Dhar. After thatthe winners of a lucky draw organised on the occasion were declared. The showstopper was a grand finale dance wherein nearly 180 students performed. Theshow concluded with national anthem.
