The Bharat Jodo Yatra, which continued from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, reached Samba district on Sunday morning amid tight security. The yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi, started from Hiranagar in Kathua district on Sunday and entered Samba district a few hours later.
Many veteran leaders of Punjab Congress are involved in this visit. The yatra will halt at Nanke Chak on Sunday. Bharat Jodo Yatra will leave from Vijaipur to Jammu on Monday. Rahul Gandhi will address a public meeting in Jammu. Strict security arrangements have been made in view of the yatra. Security forces have been deployed at every nook and corner on the highway.
