'Commercial LPG gas cylinder became cheaper by Rs 36'

There is news to give relief to the people who are facing the all-round hit of inflation. Public sector oil and gas marketing companies have cut the price of commercial gas cylinders by Rs 36. However, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG. The new rates have come into effect from Monday.



After this reduction, the price of commercial gas has come down to Rs 1976.50 per cylinder in the capital Delhi, as against Rs 2012.50 earlier. The price of commercial gas cylinders has been cut for the second consecutive month. Oil companies had earlier cut its price by Rs 135 on June 1.



The price of 19 kg commercial gas in the country's financial capital Mumbai has come down to Rs 1936.50 per cylinder and in Chennai to Rs 2141 per cylinder. Similarly, its price in Kolkata has come down to Rs 2095.50, which was earlier Rs 2132.00 per cylinder. However, there has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder.



It is noteworthy that due to the reduction in the price of commercial gas cylinders, eating and drinking outside can be somewhat cheaper. Actually it is used more in hotels, restaurants and dhabas.
