On the first day of the month, there has been a huge increase in the price of commercial gas cylinders. Public sector oil and gas marketing companies have increased the price of commercial gas cylinders by Rs 102.50. The new rates have come into effect from Sunday, May 01.



According to Indian Oil Corporation, the price of 19 kg of commercial gas in the capital Delhi has increased to Rs 2355.50 per cylinder, which till now was getting to the customers for Rs 2253. At the same time, a 5 kg LPG gas cylinder is available for Rs 655. However, there has been no increase in the price of domestic LPG gas at the moment.



After this increase, now a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder in Kolkata has become Rs 2454, which was available for Rs 2351.50. At the same time, in the country's financial capital Mumbai, now a commercial gas cylinder will be available for Rs 2307.50, which was being sold for Rs 2205 till last month. Similarly, the price of this cylinder in Chennai has now gone up to Rs 2,508.5, till now it was getting Rs 2406.
