To commemorate Indias 74rd Republic Day, celebrations were organised with good spirit and in a traditional manner by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Budhal and various other locations. National Flag was hoisted by the officers at all Company Operating Base/ Temporary Operating Base in presence of large gathering of villagers. The villagers turned out with festive fervor and gaiety. A message to the august gathering of prominent personalities including students and teaching staff was given for maintaining peace and tranquility in the area.
The school children from the neighboring schools also invited in the event. Later, sweets distribution and tea was arranged for the general public. During tea, Officers interacted with the villagers and villagers were grateful to the Army for organizing such an event and for aiding the local populace throughout the year with Sadbhavana and Sampark projects.
A total numbers 197 persons including 04 teachers 165 students 04 prominent persons and 24 locals attended the event.
