'Bharat Ratna Swar Nightingale Lata Mangeshkar is no more'

Swara Kokila Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar (92) passed away on Sunday morning at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. His body will be taken to his residence Prabhu Kunj on Pedder Road this afternoon. The last rites will be performed in the evening at Shivaji Park crematorium.

Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on 8 January after being infected with Corona. He was diagnosed with pneumonia in the hospital, so he was being treated in the ICU under the leadership of Dr. Pratit Samdani. His health improved on 22 January and the ventilator was removed, but on Saturday his health deteriorated again.

Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut tweeted the first news of Lata didi's death on Sunday morning. Sanjay Raut said in his tweet that an era has come to an end with the death of Lata didi. Nationalist Congress Party President Sharad Pawar has described the death of Lata didi as a deep blow to the country. Sharad Pawar and Sanjay Raut have also reached Breach Candy Hospital.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the death of Lata Mangeshkar. She tweeted, "Lata didi's songs stirred up a range of emotions. She closely watched the changes in the Indian film industry over the decades. Beyond films, she was always passionate about India's development. She was always one Wanted to see a strong and developed India."

He sang in many languages, which made him a different identity. His sudden departure is a big blow to the country. She may have passed away from us but her songs are Ajar Amar. Lata Mangeshkar was born on 28 September 1929 in Indore. Since childhood, she was absorbed in vocal meditation. She was the most popular and respected singer of the country. His tenure of six decades has been full of achievements. He has sung film and non-film songs in more than thirty languages.
