'6.1 magnitude earthquake strikes Myanmar'

An earthquake of 6.1 magnitude was felt in the southeast part of neighboring Myanmar at 05:15 am on Friday morning. No damage has been reported due to the earthquake.



According to information received from the Indian Seismology Center, the epicenter of the earthquake has been reported 35 km below the ground in the south entire part of Myanmar. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at 22.77 North Latitude and 93.23 East Longitude.



The impact of the earthquake was seen in the entire Northeast including Assam as well as neighboring Bangladesh. Strong tremors of the earthquake were felt in Bangladesh as well as Myanmar.
